Kitchen Restoration

Kitchen restoration is what we specialise in bringing old kitchens back to life, we are able to completely transform your kitchen while fixing existing damage. We can fix most problems such as vinyl wrap peeling off, knocks, chips and holes in the doors or frame and carcasses. We start by washing down the cupboards getting rid of any built up grease from cooking built up on and in the cupboards.

We then move on masking up the kitchen making sure everywhere is covered . Next is the keying in process which is giving the cupboards a further sand, we then go on with the coat of primer and sand once dry, depending on the material we either repeat or move on to the first top coat sand than down when it’s dry then repeat this until cupboards are finished. We then take down the masking and touch up any bits that need doing then tidy up and leaving you with your new kitchen to enjoy.

Spray painting your kitchen is the only way to achieve a flawless finish, with kitchens getting a minimum of 5 coats we gradually build up the layers leading to a perfect finish please see our recent work section or Instagram/Facebook for examples of this. Spray painting your kitchen doesn’t only save you money but its also saves you time with most jobs only taking 2-4 days, it is also more environmentally friendly, as in most cases the cabinets are in good condition to restore instead of replace.

Upgrade Handles & Knobs

Handles and knobs make a huge difference to the overall look of the kitchen. To make the biggest difference and for it to truly look like a ‘new’ kitchen it is always recommended to change the existing knobs or handles this coupled with spray painting the cupboards really does give the biggest impact. You are able to change from knobs to handles or vice versa, or simply change the existing ones to match the new colour scheme we can always give guidance on this if needed. We offer a wide variety of options so will have the ones to suit your needs.
